"Rob is one of the unique voices of North American music: a captivating performer, stellar songwriter, and a gifted storyteller. Rob's original material is a masterclass in songwriting; spare, essential lyrics that get at the meat of his topics with no filler. Lines like "I want to start a fight just to let you win" resonate with anyone that has ever navigated a long-term relationship. Rob is equally compelling as a music historian, with a keen sense of "songs that matter" from the early days of North American popular music. All of this delivered with one of the great voices of modern folk and his signature, hard-driving fingerstyle guitar." Thom Lambert, Haliburton Folk Society
