The spring peepers are peeping!

Thursday, April 17, 2023

One of the joys of living away from a large city Is walking out the door in the spring and hearing the chorus of spring peepers. Those small frogs sure do celebrate spring!

Spring is all around The Tipped Ship. There's lots of new to discover in the shop. First, let's get tasting!

Beanies will be on the sampling plate this weekend. Baked, crunchie bean puffs in two flavours - Smoked Paprika which has a gentle BBQ flavour, and the lightly flavoured Vegan Chedd'r. This is a tasty high fibre, high-protein snack with a delicious and satisfying snacking crunch. They're vegan too.

Fun, comfortable, breezy natural fabrics and as practical as summer dresses get. Lots of dresses, a few are reversible so you get twice the wow, and there are even a few tops and shorts. The selection runs from small to large and some x-large too.

This week, I'll end on a sweet note with local wildflower honey from Huntbach Bee.

My grandma used to keep a pot of honey on the table for tea. As a treat when we were kids, we were allowed to dip a teaspoon into that honey pot, scoop as much as the spoon would hold, and then pop it straight into our mouths. The love of honey never ends!
