The summer heat is warming up the lakes, and ripening the corn! Brandi from Magill Farms in Elgin has delivered some of their fine sweet corn straight from the fields. It's a first to offer you fresh local sweet corn at Tipped, and folks are taking advantage of it.

Local author Kristen den Hartog returns to the Tipped Ship to talk about her books. Her author talks are as entertaining as her books!

With more than thirty years as a published author, she's written short stories, novels, and creative non-fiction. Her newest miniature book project has a local setting: the stories explore connections between humans and animals and are inspired by her move to an old house outside Lyndhurst.
