I'll be the first to admit that I was a Daddy's girl. We had our disagreements, like we all do, but I was lucky to always have him in my corner. He's been gone for almost twenty years and I miss him. Don't miss an opportunity to show the father in your life how much he means to you. 

That's a curious catch-all that looks like a man's belt. It arrived at Tipped a couple of weeks ago, just in time for Father's Day gifting in two weeks, on June 21st. 

Maybe a hat is more his style. Or perhaps it's your style. This one is a fine straw hat, lightweight, and provides lots of sun protection. 

Another recent consignment arrival is this Citizen Solar Titanium men's watch. It has a new battery and ticks right along. 

New arrivals? Edwina Wood has been at it again! A new painting with a barn board frame. There's something fun and different about this one. She painted on both sides of the board that's mounted in the frame. You can flip the painting within the frame to enjoy a whole new painting.

Sydney and Abi got busy this week and designed a new window scape for you to admire. Do you notice the clay pot? Does it look familiar? That Kenyan clay pot is featured on the latest painting by Edwina, as well as this one on the window, “Woman with Clay Pots.” I'm delighted to show Edwina's art here at Tipped. 

Fashions in another form! Two 1985 paper doll cutout books came in. I'll enjoy hearing about where they end up and how they will be used. The creativity in our community inspires me.

Whoever created this necklace was certainly inspired. Look at the glass beads! They're marvelous in their tiny details and so fun! There's one…

The Tipped crew is growing again - There is a part-time position available at Tipped. It's 16 hours a week, 2 to 6 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 to 2 on Thursdays, and 2 to 6 pm on Fridays. If you or someone you know may be interested, please have them contact me by phone, by email or by stopping in.

Tickets for the shows in Elgin may be purchased at The Tipped Ship or at the door. I saw this show last Saturday. So many laughs to lighten a difficult subject, and lots of opportunities for audience participation. It was good fun and the ticket sales support local charities. A great way to spend an evening!

Tipped Tunes on a Tuesday!
