Sweet-faced white lamb stuffed animal

It feels like spring, right? Kinda? Some of the time? Sheep are being shorn to ready them for the warmer weather and collect the winter-grown fleece. It's busy on the farm, and they're not waiting!

The better weather brought author Tracy Kasaboski back to Tipped with her brand new book, “The Birdman of Wylie Road”.

The Birdman is written from the point of view of the Birdman’s dog, Floyd, a perceptive and intelligent retriever…his view of the world he lives in and the people and animals he shares it with.”

I haven't had a chance to look between the covers yet, but I'm looking forward to this read. I am a dog lover, and I'd love to get Floyd's view of the world!

Alison Sheri is a Canadian-designed brand based in Montreal and new to The Tipped Ship. These are just two of many spring additions to the boutique. The racks here are full to bursting, waiting for you to explore and discover, from casual to dressy.

Full to bursting…actually bursting, bursting out of the boutique. Watch this space for new surprises. This is an expansion of the boutique that I hoped to have complete by the end of January. It's April, and now I'm hoping for mid-April? End of April at the latest. There! I've said it. Let's see how it goes…

While we're talking all things boutique, here are the deets on the 4th Annual Tipped Ship Spring Fashion Show. Along with the fun and laughter, the fashions, the fabulous models, the snacks and sips, the ticket proceeds go to support St. Luke's Thrift Shop Lunch-To-Go Program here in Elgin. All the goodness!

When St. Luke's Thrift Shop is open, they offer a bag lunch. It's right beside the Elgin Fresh Mart (aka Gordanier Fresh Mart). Lunch consists of a sandwich, cut vegetables, a piece of fruit, and a drink box for anyone in need of lunch. Donations towards lunch are always kindly appreciated.

Tickets are limited to 30! Don't be disappointed - get your tickets! Either stop by Tipped or purchase your tickets online
