On Tuesday, I had a day! You know, one of those days when you figure you must have gotten out of the wrong side of the bed. 

My main laptop, the one I usually prepare this newsletter on, decided that morning it was stuck in a blue-screen death loop. I tried to brush it off, but it definitely "flavoured" my morning with some not-so-nice words. 2018 to 2026. I suppose I should be glad it lasted as long as it did. But, I was grumpy!!

So I did what any shop owner might do next. I decided, the heck with computers, let's get real. Sydney and I collected some of our favourite clothing pieces and created a sale rack.  It's in the main part of the shop where you can't miss it. There might be something on it that's just right for you at a very right price! That helped get me in a better mood.

Then my Ottawa friend, Carol, came for a visit that afternoon. She had a great idea too - let's move the furniture! 

We did a switcheroo. We brought the rack of Hue socks and leggings out from Spin (that's what we, ok I, call the vintage clothing room) and put it right beside the sale rack. After all, these are new, not vintage at all! 

Next, we carefully carried the full rack of young children's clothes into Spin. Because…it is their second time around. It's fitting they're in Spin. It's easier to reach them all there too. I was pretty much back to my cheerful self at this point. 

Adding a little more cheer - from little children to little birds. These delightful birdhouses, and a couple of other sweet ones, arrived at Tipped this week. They're each unique and each delightful.

Unique and delightful, like flowers, local fresh cut flowers from Forgotten Orchard Farm. Do you have a young graduate who might love to receive a bouquet? We'll have our regular Friday Flowers, but on Tuesday, we'll also have three fresh bouquets for you to gift to your young graduate.
