For me, the end of the school year means strawberry season is starting. Popping that fresh berry into my mouth with all its sweetness! For many years, I'd take my three sons out to the strawberry farm to pick fresh berries for jam. I still head out early one morning to Mensen Farm in Delta before the sun is searing hot and pick a basket or four.
