The two Bear buddies on the small wicker settee know how to have a good hang. They're hand-knitted by Susan Chalmers, one of our local handcrafters who contributes to Tipped. They would make a child's first bear a memorable and meaningful one. 

I've been feeling the evening and early morning chill outside. Thinking all things warm helps.

Three guesses, and the first two don't count. You got it! Susan brought this fall-themed hand-knit sweater in. I love the leaves pattern and those coloured leaf-shaped buttons are perfection. There's one. 

Leaves again but this time in a vibrant artwork. Local artist Elaine Farragher has these leaves looking like they'll pop right off the canvas. This piece is going to cheer up your space! 

Yesterday I woke up and went shopping at Tipped! (It's handy/tempting to live above the shop.) This is an Orientique 100% cotton midi-length dress. Easy to wear and so comfortable. 

I've paired it with a silk square scarf from Fraas. It brightens the dark colours near my face and keeps me a little warmer. We have a few of these wonderfully soft squares at Tipped. 

I've been enjoying half a grapefruit each morning lately. If I didn't have the fresh fruit, I'd be reaching for this tasty and tangy Pink Grapefruit Marmalade. It's our “jam of the week”. 

Jam of the week: Powder Blues, Red Hot/True Blue. It's a double album from the Canadian 1983 way-back machine. Their fifth album out of eleven to date. They're still out touring! They're bringing their 40th Anniversary tour from Vancouver to Ottawa on Nov. 26th and to Kingston on the 27th.
