and we both looked up and said, “Fall”. It has begun, although the fine weather is holding well. We'll enjoy it to the fullest. 

These skeins are just some of the vibrant fall colours that Sheila Dean dropped off from her local New Leaf Farm collection. Holding the soft, warm wool in your hands as you create is a pleasure, especially in the fall.

Speaking of hands and warmth, these long fingerless mittens will come in handy. They're long enough for you to pull your fingers back inside when you need to. 

Your head will soon need an extra layer for warmth too. Pick one of these folded-brim knit hats for yourself or as a gift. They're appreciated! 

We have a couple of these slouchy hats with a knitted cord. They're deep enough to provide just the right amount of slouch. 

Warm, cozy and comfy! These cropped, zip-front hoodies have a thick hood you could rely on to keep your head warm in the wind. This is from a new clothing line for Tipped by Montreal-based Wanakome.

Pullover style with a longer, hip-length and again, a two-layer hood to keep you warm. Also by Wanakome. 

Our jam of the week is Spiced Cherry Preserve by Michael's Dolce. Cherries, lemon, ginger and cinnamon - something a little different and a lot delicious!

There was only one Charlie, my standard black Poodle. You may have met him in the shop where he occasionally joined us as a Tipped team member and (overly) enthusiastic greeter. Sadly, he passed away on Monday, Sept. 28th, just shy of his 11th birthday. He'll be forever missed.
